It was late at night, but Lilia was still in the student lounge. She knew that she should get some sleep, but her mind was too active. There was no way that she would be able to sleep now. Sighing, she stood up, walking to the window and standing on tiptoe to lean her elbows on the sill, looking out at the darkened school grounds. Running a hand through her hair, she went back to the sofa, on which a letter lay. This letter had come in the post this morning, and it had been on her mind all day. She picked it up and looked down on it again. Of course, to most people, it looked like complete garbage, but to Lilia, it was easier than English. It was from her parents, and it basically said that they were proud of her for getting into Glaceau, but they were going on trial shortly, and that this was possibly the last letter they would write to her. A tear trickled down Lilia's face. Her parents had done nothing wrong. Okay, so they opposed the government, but that didn't mean they should be imprisoned. She didn't know if the death penalty was still allowed in Russia, hadn't bothered to find out, but now she was worried. Did this mean that her parents would be put to death? She let out a little whimper at the thought, re-reading the letter. She began to cry properly, tears falling on the piece of paper so precious. Now was when she really missed her friends. Now was when she needed someone to be sympathetic and to comfort her. [ooc: Sorry if the picture distorts the page dimensions.]

[hope you don't mind me replying]
Another place she hadn't been since arriving here a few days ago. The students lounge. After hearing some good things about this school she should be glad to be here but like with most other schools shed been to away from her family and friends, she missed them allot. Leaving the school seemed like the best options but she worked hard to get here and with her voice, well...it wasn't to hard work. She didn't know anyone yet though. She was different to others as she noticed during the past few days. No one was remotely like her. People wore colors. She, well she only wears black. Pale features and dark rings around here eyes. She was just so different than everyone here and a friends, well a friend would be great to.
She pushed the door open with her right pale hand, the black nail varnish just freshly painted on and looking good and took small steps into the launch. It was big and posh looking. That was her first glimpse of it though. The seats looked nice. Nice and new. Kaitlynn always saw things other people didn't like when she flicked a switch on, she listened to the buzzing noise that it made and the way the light reflected of things but now her gaze landed on a female at the window and by the way she was standing, she looked upset about something. She could read body language but she wasn't the one to go over, put her hand on the persons shoulder and ask if every things alright. She wanted to deeply inside but her mind stooped her and the shyness took over even if her heart told her differently. Kaitlynn to a few more steps and took another good look around the room and settled on the female again as she slowly walked to wards here, doing what her heart was telling her.

[ooc: Nope, it's open to anyone]
Lilia, the letter in her hand, got up again, restless. She tried to calm herself, but it didn't work as it normally good. She didn't usually show her feelings in public, but she was alone now, albeit in a public place, and the floodgates had opened. She was finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that she might never see her parents again. Ever. For all she knew, they could be sentenced to death. She didn't even know if that was still legal in Russia. That was something she was going to find out as soon as she could, so she knew how much danger her dear parents were in. Wandering to the window again, she rested her chin in her hands; in turn her elbows rested on the sill. Why was life so unfair?
She knew that she should pray for her parents, but get on with her life. It was what they wanted her to do, in particular her mother. Mama had always wanted her to be a professional, and now, with a new determination, Lilia was going to do that for her. She was going to dance harder than she ever had, because it was the only thing that would allow her to feel calm and almost at ease with the world. But at the back of her mind, there was the niggling thought that she would never see her parents again, and it was that that made the tears fall onto the paper, smudging the ink.
Lilia heard the door open, but she didn't move from her spot at the window. She looked down at the letter again, and reread it for the fifth or sixth time. With all her inner strength, she conjured up the energy to wipe the tears from her face and to turn around to see who it was. Her face was red and her eyes were puffy, but she still managed to look pretty, even if it was in a very vunerable way. She took in the girl with her watery eyes, managed a smile so small it was hardly visible and turned back to look out of the window, saying nothing, tears again filling the dark brown eyes.

Her steps were small and her gaze seemed to remain on the floor, looking at the patterns that were in the carpet. It was a reddish color. A wine red perhaps but colors aren't her best thing even if she was an art student and studied art along with music and other subjects here. The walk over to the upset female seemed to take longer and longer. It seemed like seconds, minutes - hours flew past but really she was just ten or less steps away from were Kaitlynn first sighted her. It always seemed to take forever for her to walk up to someone as ask if they were alright. She was to shy things like that but always ends up plucking up her courage and doing git anyway, just as her heart wants her to do.
Kaitlynn is a small girl for her age. At the age of Sixteen she was only 5 foot 5 tall but her whole family was small so it was no surprise that she would end up like that to. She was pretty though. She didn't think so but others did. She was unique after all. Different to most people you would see around this place or any were else really. Not that there are other people that dress like her but the way she did it was what makes her unique. The way she outs her make up on and the style she wears. The way her hair was made up and even the way she walks, talks and sings was something that makes her what she is.
Minutes had seemed to be fly past and finally she was standing next to the crying female. Normally, people would put their hand on their shoulders but that was something she never did. Human contact was weird to her especially if it was someone she didn't know. She even found it hard to get words out of her mouth but in the end and after a short argument with her mind, she managed to squeeze some out.
You Alright?
Quick words but could mean something to people. A sign people cared but for all she knows, this girl could be cold hearted and doesn't give a damn about anything but, it doesn't seem lightly to.
